This July 4th, Hot Springs National Park is throwing a birthday party 250 years in the making!

Friends of Hot Springs National Park is hosting the Red, White & YOU celebration in partnership with the Park and America’s National Parks. The celebration starts at 9 am with an All-American Parade down Bathhouse Row – a community-led march through history where YOU are the main attraction.

Dress as Uncle Sam, a Founding Father or Mother, or rock your best red, white and blue. Small wagon floats are encouraged. Festively decked out pets (on leash) are also welcome.

The parade begins at Hill Wheatley Plaza and ends at Arlington Lawn, where the fun continues until 3 pm with the Red, White & YOU community picnic. Fun for all ages include arts & crafts, carnival games, stage performances and costume contests. Food vendors will be available. Donations will benefit the Maurice Bathhouse stained glass ceiling.

Raise the Glass Bacchus Bash

Join Friends of Hot Springs National Park in celebration of Bacchus, the Roman god of wine and the arts, by raising your glass to help ‘raise the glass’ for the Maurice Bathhouse. Eight Bacchus heads adorn the walls of the the historic 3rd floor Roycroft den.

The Friends will host the first ever Raise the Glass food and wine bash on Thursday, August 20, from 6:30 to 9 PM at The Vapors Live, 315 Park Avenue, Hot Springs.

“When in Rome, do as the Roman’s do” Hot Springs style! Enjoy delicious canapés from Secret Handshake, 501 Prime, The Vault and J&S Hospitality. Dance to the vibes of MC Entertainment. Vote for the local celebrity who wears the toga best, and more. All adults are welcome and Roman garb is optional but encouraged.
