Raise the Glass Bacchus Bash

Join Friends of Hot Springs National Park in celebration of Bacchus, the Roman god of wine and the arts, by raising your glass to help ‘raise the glass’ for the Maurice Bathhouse. Eight Bacchus heads adorn the walls of the the historic 3rd floor Roycroft den.

The Friends will host the first ever Raise the Glass food and wine bash on Thursday, August 20, from 6:30 to 9 PM at The Vapors Live, 315 Park Avenue, Hot Springs.

“When in Rome, do as the Roman’s do” Hot Springs style! Enjoy delicious canapés from Secret Handshake, 501 Prime, The Vault and J&S Hospitality. Dance to the vibes of MC Entertainment. Vote for the local celebrity who wears the toga best, and more. All adults are welcome and Roman garb is optional but encouraged.

Water Festival

Join us from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Arlington Lawn! Celebrate the famous Hot Springs water, water tasting, learn about the water, and more. Friends of Hot Springs National Park will have an activity supporting the stained-glass ceiling in the Maurice Bathhouse.

Nonprofit Fair

Come out to the Garland County Library from 12:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Learn about Friends of Hot Springs National Park and their projects supporting the park.

Cocoa with Friends

Join us from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at 101 Reserve Street! Make a cup of cocoa with marshmallows and peppermint sticks using Hot Springs thermal water. Donations accepted for the stained-glass ceiling in the Maurice Bathhouse.
